“Fantastic retreat from the busy world, great for resetting, grouding, yoga, meditation romance, and for me song writing. Host communication was good and facilities and log cabin were private and as good as the reviews and pictures .. if your looking for that quiet romantic get away you won’t be disappointed.”

“We loved our stay here! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the decor and facilities are done out to an extremely high standard. It is located in a very private and peaceful area with no other houses or people in sight. The host Chloé was very attentive and kindly left us a hamper with food and drinks we could use throughout our stay.
Thank you for such a lovely break away. We will definitely be back!”

“A beautifully maintained and peaceful cabin. We stayed here to celebrate a 50th birthday and Chloe kindly helped organise a lovely surprise welcome pack of ballons, cake and champagne.
The location is fantastic – we never got bored of looking at the views and our crazy spaniel loved exploring the outside space!
This was our 2nd stay here and we will 100% be returning for a third visit.”

“It’s a slice of heaven found in Somerset. We needed peace and quiet and we got just that. The location is stunning and what the pictures don’t show you is just how private and quiet it is. Everything that we could have wanted was there and more. The small touches throughout the cabin made it even better. It was really hard to leave! The hot tub was incredible. It was the perfect getaway for any couple, and I would recommend the Burnworthy Retreat to anyone that is considering staying there.”

This idyllic cabin was not only overlooking the most picturesque scenery, but the host had thought of every detail to make it the stay both practical and magical. Even the dog was thought of, which was greatly appreciated (he told us!) We would recommend Burnworthy Retreat to anyone and would definitely return next time we need an escape!”

“We stayed here for our minimoon and the place was phenomenal. If we had dreamed a perfect cabin in the woods this would be it. Excellent amount of provisions – coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets (often a scarcity in many air BnBs!), even a big hamper of local produce – eggs, milk, biscuits. They really have thought of everything – bubbles for your bubble bath, cheese knives for your cheese board! The place is better than the photos, with great views and feels very private – don’t hesitate to book, it’s worth every penny!”

“Fantastic location, we visited on our mini-moon and it couldn’t have been a more perfect stay. The host has really thought of everything with plenty of guidance and instruction, considerate messages and even local eggs and other bits to make us feel right at home! The cabin has been beautifully decorated and everything has been considered even as far as wireless chargers at the bed side. Would 100% recommend and will hopefully return soon for another visit!”

“Just spent 3 nights celebrating a 30th birthday. Location is amazing, beautiful views. This was more expensive that other lodges but it is absolutely worth the price tag with the small details in furnishings. I wanted to rebook after being there 5 mins. So tranquil, so relaxing, perfect for the dog. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. They also arranged a balloon and Prosecco to be there for us and we arrange a massage at the lodge which made it extra special.”

Chloe was lovely to deal with and was at hand if at any time we needed anything. They have done a great job in the design and decor. Chloe even recommended a masseuse Emma that came to the cabin and gave us great massages which we highly recommend. I would definitely go back.”
